About the Owner - Anna Britt!

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’ve made it this far. It means the world that you've taken the time out of your day and the wedding/event planning process to learn a little bit about me and my company. So here we go!

I am an Asheville native and a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. In 2018, I graduated from Mars Hill University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration with a concentration in Management. But that wasn’t my major at first. While at Mars Hill, my advisor often asked me what I wanted to do for a living, and I wasn’t always sure. I bounced around between a couple of majors, starting with Psychology. I love understanding how people work. But in the end, it just didn’t feel right. I’m too much of an empath. I dug deep and asked myself, “What do I really love to do?” Well, I love to party! So I figure, why not plan parties for a living?! I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t thought of it sooner. * Hand smacks forehead * I probably could’ve saved myself some time and energy, but I digress. Lol. But all of a sudden, my purpose just made sense, and I finally felt excited about my future career.

Once I graduated, I started applying for jobs and received the usual response: "We’re looking for someone with experience.” Little did they know how much experience I actually had. Lol. Finally, I landed a job as a Manager/Event Planner for a local brewery and began working. Close to a year after starting this job, COVID happened.

During COVID, I took some time to relax and reset. My boyfriend had recently gotten me my now beloved rottweiler, Motley Rue, so the three of us spent lots of time together during the lockdown.

It was my first time being unemployed since I was 14. I’m a Capricorn, and if you’re into astrology, you know exactly why I’m saying that. I genuinely enjoy working and succeeding in my career. So, when the world opened back up, I was eager to get back to it.

But I was right back where I started. “Thank you for applying, but we are seeking someone with more experience. Please apply again in the future.” I decided strew it. I’m going to start my own wedding and event company. I know my potential, and I know my drive to succeed. So away I went. I started hustling just like I always have. I did all sorts of events, luxury picnics, balloons, day-of coordination, wedding and event planning, you name it. I did it.

Along the way, I became the Lead Planner for The Luxury Wedding Co. and Asheville Wedding Planners and General Manager for Della Terra Beauty in 2021. Still working closely with these companies, I realized that weddings mostly consumed my life. And there’s really was nothing wrong with that, but again, I love parties in general, and I wanted to broaden my horizons!

So, nowadays, you might find me at a wedding, a club event, or a local festival. If there’s a good time to be had, I’m having it!

I want my days and life to be filled with the joy of creating fabulous celebrations. So, if you’re into partying, loud music, having fun, * a little bit of cussing *, and all of the above. We should plan an event together.
